Kerri Fowler

Director

Joyner Visitor Center 137

Bio

Joining the Wolfpack in 2012, Kerri Fowler has worked in Higher Education for over 15 years, with more than a dozen of those primarily spent in the division of Enrollment Management. Her experiences with Undergraduate Admissions, research, and communications have all had one notable commonality, the thread of parents and families and the critical role they have in the support and success of today’s college students.

As the director of Parents and Families Services at NC State, Kerri is enthusiastic about engaging these parents and works closely to develop partnerships that highlight resources and create valuable connections. Keeping Wolfpack Families informed and affixed to the campus community is a mission for Kerri and her team. From large-scale events such as Parents and Families Weekend and Spring Fling to the monthly Conversation Calendar and bi-monthly newsletter, the goal is to ensure that every family is provided the support and resources that support student success.

Day-to-day, Kerri provides organizational management for the Office of Parents and Families Services, providing program and initiative evolution to a known leader in parent programming in Higher Education. One of her most favored roles is that of a mentor to her Parent Allies, the student leadership team employed by Parents and Families Services, where she supports individual skills and team-building development for these students. In her words, “it truly brings our meaningful work full circle.”

Originally from Vermont, Kerri and her family relocated to Raleigh in 2012 and have thoroughly enjoyed access to the ocean and the mountains. Together, she and her family enjoy cooking, hiking, road trips, and some always-friendly athletic competition! She is an avid Wolfpack Fan for college sports but will always be a New England fan through and through. Go, Red Sox! Go Pats! Go, Bruins!
