Our top priority is safety. We will adhere to the university’s weather policy and the guidelines established by NC State University and NC State Athletics (Carter-Finley Stadium) in the event of extreme weather conditions for all special events hosted by the Office of Parents and Families Services.

Most signature events will take place regardless of weather conditions, including tours and outdoor tailgates or pre-game activities. However, outdoor service projects (such as the Planting Project and Fun Run) may be adjusted if the weather is not favorable. In such cases, we will communicate directly with registrants regarding any changes to these specific events. 

Refunds will not be issued for event cancellations or travel disruptions due to weather for any event hosted by the Office of Parents and Families Services.
