Transfer Family Resources
A helpful guide for all who champion transfer students at NC State.

NC State is dedicated to supporting transfer students, and that includes YOU, the parents and families who champion these students throughout their journey. Whether you are a parent, sibling, partner or even the child of an NC State transfer student, you can help provide the resources and insight that support all students in achieving success.
Transfer Student Resources
NC State is committed to making education accessible. Below are a few of the key resources for Transfer students.
Supporting Your Transfer Student
Engage your transfer student with thoughtful questions, share words of encouragement (don’t miss our Transfer Family Talking Tips), surprise them with care packages, provide them with the resources (i.e., the Transfer Planner) and enjoy some quality time together on campus—remember, signature events such as Parents and Families Weekend and Spring Fling are just for you! Our office is dedicated to welcoming and assisting all families. Knowing the resources available is key to helping your NC State student thrive.
