Special Event- On Campus and Visitor Parking

The following permits are available for the 2024 Parents and Families Weekend event, Sept. 26 - 29. Please follow the instructions below.

Please note that the parking permit for September 26 is only valid after 12:00 PM. Parking on campus prior to this time may result in ticketing.

How To Obtain Your 2024 VIRTUAL Event Permit

  1. Visit Go.ncsu.edu/EventParking
  2. Ensure you are logged out of your parking account.
  3. Select “Purchase Event Permit”
  4. Agree to the Terms of Service
  5. Select “General Event”
  6. Select the Parents and Family Weekend day you are attending
  7. When prompted, enter the Event Voucher Code: PFW2024
    The code is case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown.
  8. Select “Apply Voucher”
  9. Select an available Permit Type (this will populate above the voucher code field in the gray box)
  10. Select/Confirm your parking dates. Select “Confirm“
  11. Select the Location
  12. Select “Add Vehicle”. Enter vehicle license plate, state, year, make, and model.
  13. Review the information entered for accuracy and select “Add”
  14. Enter name and phone number. Select “Confirm“
  15. Select “Continue”
  16. Enter email address and billing information
  17. Review information. Select “Checkout”
  • Remember, the permit is virtual; your license plate is your permit.
  • The permit is valid only for the vehicle entered.
  • Permit is not valid in pay-by-plate locations. Do not back-in or pull-through to park without a front plate.
  • License Plate must face traffic lane.
  • Event Permits are non-refundable.

    Vehicles parked on campus before 5:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday without a valid permit are subject to ticketing. This parking regulation on pay lots and pay-per-space will remain effective until Friday, Sept. 27, at 5:00 p.m.  

    There is no cost or required permit to park on campus starting Friday at 5:00 p.m. until Monday at 7:00 a.m. Parking in specific assigned spaces or handicap-accessible spaces without the proper permit is always prohibited.
