Introduction: New Parent Ally

Hello! My name is Madison Chema and I’m from Wake Forest, North Carolina. I’m a sophomore double majoring in Chemical Engineering and Spanish. I’m new to the Office of Parents and Families Services office starting Fall 2023! Along with being a Parent Ally, I am a member of the Sustainability Stewards and the Ben Franklin Scholars Program. Outside of my academic life, I enjoy spending time with friends and family as well as traveling whenever I have the opportunity. I plan to study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country sometime in the near future to combine my love for the language and culture with my interest in traveling.   

Some of my favorite NC State events have been Packapalooza and Wolfstock. I look forward to being a part of many family-oriented events such as Coffee Chats and Parents and Families Weekend. I’m so excited to start my position as a Parent Ally to make the college experience as enjoyable as possible for everyone involved!
