Introduction: New Parent Ally

Greetings Pack Families! My name is Thomas Radford, a sophomore transfer student at NC State, majoring in Communications Media with aspirations of pursuing a career in Interior Design. I am a new Parent Ally for the 2023-2024 academic year. I was adopted from Russia at 13 months old, and have lived in North Carolina ever since. When I’m not on campus, you’ll often find me at the beach, where I call home. Traveling is one of my greatest passions, and my family and I love exploring new places together.

Here at North Carolina State, I am a member of the State Chorale, where I devote a lot of my time to. Singing has been a passion of mine since elementary school, and being part of a choir allows me to express myself authentically. In 2023, I achieved the hard-earned rank of Eagle Scout after completing all the Boy Scouts’ ranks. This accomplishment was not only personally rewarding but also a life-changing experience for me. 

I am looking forward to learning more about NC State traditions! I am especially excited about Red and White Week because there are so many opportunities for me to better connect myself with the University as a transfer student. 

I am truly excited to be part of the Parents and Families Services team where I can contribute to and support NC State families!
