Hello Pack Families!

My name is Camila Kern, and I am a second-year student at NCSU.  I am majoring in Communications with a double minor in business administration and science communications.  I am thrilled to be a part of the Pack Family Ally Program this year!

Besides spending my time on campus at NC State, I enjoy going on runs, playing soccer, singing and spending time with friends and family!  I was born in Richmond, Virginia, but I grew up in Cary, North Carolina.  My family resides in New York, Pennsylvania and Peru, so I enjoy traveling every year to see them.  Raleigh has always been like a second home to me, as I’ve always traveled over for soccer purposes.

Alongside Parents and Family Services, I also participate in another activity at NC State.  I joined the NCSU women’s club soccer team, which is in season for both the fall and spring semesters!  I’m inclined to expand my search and find other clubs to partake in. I hope this upcoming academic year will grant me those opportunities!

To restate, I am thrilled to be a part of Parents and Families services this summer and for the upcoming academic year!  I am excited to interact and promote Pack spirit with all Wolfpack families and support them on their own journeys here at NC State!
