As summertime kicks into full gear, families of incoming first-year and transfer students have a lot on their minds. This time of year can be super exciting for some and nerve-racking for others. In order to ease the sometimes intense emotions of this process, the office of Parents and Families Services is hosting a series of Summer Send-Off celebrations in collaboration with the Pack Family Region Chairs and Family Ambassadors.

These casual events are meant to welcome incoming students and their families to the Wolfpack family and celebrate their accomplishments. This is also a great opportunity for students to meet their classmates from their area, get answers to last-minute questions and for families to start building their network.  Utilize this chance to gain a head start on creating new relationships and bonds within the Wolfpack community!

These celebrations are hosted in several cities across North Carolina and some out-of-state cities as well. This is not a mandatory event, but an opportunity to learn more about campus life before the start of the academic year.
