Meet our PAs: Walker Hamilton

Hey Pack Families! My name is Walker Hamilton and I am a sophomore majoring in Economics with a Statistics and Political Science minor at NC State. I am a new Parent Ally for the 2024-2025 academic year. I was born in Newport News, Virginia but have lived most of my life in Cary, right outside Raleigh. Despite going to college so close to home, I plan on studying abroad in either Prague or Vienna during my junior year. 

At NC State, I am a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a Co-Ed fraternity on campus dedicated to leadership and service. I am also a classically trained guitarist and have been playing guitar since I was only 4 years old. When not attending class or working at the office, I love watching sports, especially NC State. I am a lifelong NC State football fan and am very excited for our new season, especially our Parents and Families Weekend tailgating events. 

In my time as a Parent Ally, I am looking forward to being involved with our Family Ambassador Program and participating in Coffee Chats, as I enjoy engaging with Wolfpack parents. I am very grateful to be a part of Parents and Families Services this year and look forward to assisting NC State families!
