Parking Passes

Is your student looking to get a parking pass on campus for Fall 2022? If yes, this is the blog for you! 

NC State Transportation offers students parking passes for Fall 2022 based on the number of credits your student has. Have your student verify their credit hours by checking the Total Units section of your Degree Audit in MyPack Portal. Any concerns about credit hours should be directed to the Office of Registration and Records.

It is important to mark your calendars for the date your student can buy parking passes! Passes go quickly, so it is important to remind your student of the date they can purchase a pass and get on the computer right when the purchase period opens.

To register a vehicle on campus, students will need all vehicle (plate, state, year, make, model), insurance (insurance company, policy number), and billing (credit card number, billing address) information on hand at the time of the sale.

If the permit type your student want sells out, they can add themselves to the waiting list to be notified when a space becomes available. 

Here are the dates for purchasing a pass: 

First-Year Resident Lottery Opens: June 1, 2022 @ 10 AM

Graduate Students: July 14, 2022 @ 10 AM

90+ Credit Hours: July 19, 2022 @ 10 AM

60+ Credit Hours: July 21, 2022 @ 10 AM

30+ Credit Hours: July 26, 2022 @ 10 AM

0+ Credit Hours/Open Sales: July 28, 2022 @ 10 AM

First-Year Resident Lottery Closes: July 29, 2022 @ 3 PM

Lottery Drawing Date: August 1, 2022 @ 12 PM
